Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Universal Islands of Adventure, oft verkürzt zu Islands of Adventure, ist ein Freizeitpark in Orlando, Florida, Vereinigte Staaten. Er wurde ursprünglich am 28. Mai 1999 unter dem Namen Universal Studios Islands of Adventure zusammen mit CityWalk eröffnet, im Rahmen einer großen Erweiterung, die Universal Studios Florida in das Universal Orlando Resort verwandelte.
Discovery Cove
Discovery Cove ist ein Boutique-Themenpark in Orlando, Florida, der im Sommer 2000 eröffnet wurde. Der Park ist einer tropischen Insel nachempfunden. Er ist neben SeaWorld Orlando und Aquatica der dritte Freizeitpark der SeaWorld-Gruppe in Orlando. Die SeaWorld-Freizeitparks gehören zu SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, einem Tochterunternehmen der Blackstone Group.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a chain of themed areas at Universal Destinations & Experiences based on the Harry Potter media franchise, adapting elements from the Warner Bros.‘ film series and original novels by J. K. Rowling. The areas were designed by Universal Creative from an exclusive license with Warner Bros. Entertainment.
Disney Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom ist ein zoologischer Themenpark und der vierte Freizeitpark im Walt Disney World Resort nach Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios und EPCOT. Der Park liegt in Bay Lake, Florida, nahe Orlando, und wird von der Walt Disney Company über ihre Sparte Experiences betrieben. Mit einer Fläche von etwa 230 Hektar ist Disney’s Animal Kingdom der flächenmäßig größte Freizeitpark der Welt. Die Eröffnung erfolgte am 22. April 1998, dem Tag der Erde.
